Remembering Joe Durrett Exhibit Opening
5-8 pm – Millie Wilcox Gallery located in the Ritz Theatre in Downtown Brunswick. Golden Isles Arts and Humanities is pleased to host this tribute to the work of the late Darien artist curated by his daughter, Catherine Durrett. The exhibit will remain on display through June 25, 2021. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Relay for Life of Glynn County
5-9 pm – Mary Ross Waterfront Park: Lighted luminaria will line the park to remember those we have lost to cancer and celebrate cancer survivors. The community will be able to drive through the beautiful display, making it safe for all to attend.
Brunswick’s 83rd Annual Blessing of the Fleet
10 am-4 pm – Mary Ross Waterfront Park: Events include the 1st Annual Southeast Georgia Shrimp Standoff Cooking Competition, a shrimp eating contest, the annual Cops v. Firefighters tug-of-war, first ever Miss Blessing of the Fleet Pageant, food, crafts and so much more.
