Thanks to Betty Foy Sanders, I’m back in awe of the color Red. Her intimate creative piece in a swirl of red and pink hues, is prominently displayed in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus:
The Color Red
Red is the symbol of the heart. Perhaps the heart is red, pink, or reddish-purple, but for sure, the blood that flows through the heart is red, and it is the lifeline that sustains us. Red can mean fire, danger, beautiful jewels, and Valentine love. It is a sexy color. A bit of red is in the morning sunrise and the evening sunset. It is also associated with the Devil. Red is a very important color for all of us that have cardiovascular problems. It must flow freely through our bodies for us to survive, therefore, we should all love the color red. by Betty Foy Sanders
Join us by wearing RED on February 1st to increase Heart Disease awareness.
