Welcome to the Dog (and cat) Days of Summer! August brings our highly anticipated Annual Pet Yearbook. We have so enjoyed seeing all your furry and feathered family members! Even the most frustrating day can be brightened by adorable animal photos. Speaking of which, that’s my cat in the picture with me. Her name is Paisley. Believe it or not, she is not named after the magazine. Paisley is the name she was given at the shelter. Honestly, half the time we call her by her nickname: Squeakers. She has the oddest little meow. I should thank my husband for indulging my need for animal companionship. Not that he had a choice, really.
I hope you enjoy all this issue has to offer, from our featured women living their best lives to the calendar of local events. Speaking of events, don’t forget to mark your calendars for The Paisley Partini! Coastal Georgia’s biggest Ladies Night is back August 12th at Spartina Grill! The prizes, music, and food and drink specials will be flowing at the Darien waterfront from 5:30 to 7:30. See you there!
